Starting in January and running throughout 2026, Newsquest will join forces with Centrepoint to help support its vital work tackling youth homelessness.
Central to the partnership will be Newsquest gifting the charity with advertising across its extensive portfolio of titles, online and in print, to the value of at least £4 million.
Centrepoint began as a night shelter in Soho in 1969 and has grown into a national charity supporting over 15,000 young people each year with housing, health, and skills training. Despite this progress, more than 118,000 young people faced homelessness last year, making the charity’s work more vital than ever.

The partnership will include advertising and editorial activities throughout 2026 to raise awareness and funding, promote workshops and training, encourage volunteering and fundraising and to tell the story of homelessness in communities across the UK.
In the coming months, articles will feature ways to fundraise and donate, which will help the charity to continue vital services such as accommodation, mental health support, and skills training.
The campaign will also spotlight solutions to end youth homelessness and ways readers can get involved in campaigning for practical change for the young people affected.
Newsquest publishes over 200 titles across the UK and has a monthly digital audience of over 50 million users. It publishes approximately 50,000 local stories each month. Many of its local titles are read, online and in print, by more than 75% of the local population.
Newsquest’s previous annual charity partnerships have seen support given to the NSPCC, and most recently, the Teenage Cancer Trust.
