A true crime documentary examining a murder case that “shocked the nation” is now available to stream on Netflix.
Who Killed Lin and Megan: The Chillenden Murders, originally broadcast on Channel 5 in 2023, chronicles two devastating deaths that shook a small community.
According to the Netflix description: “In 1996, an attack on a mother and her two daughters devastated a quiet English village. This documentary reexamines the investigation that followed.”

He was subsequently handed three life sentences with a tariff of 25 years and has made multiple attempts to challenge the conviction.
At the conclusion of the Netflix documentary, which was first shown in 2023, text on screen states: “Michael Stone lost a second appeal against his conviction in 2005.

“Michael Stone still protests his innocence of these crimes and his legal team continues to work to overturn his conviction.”
In 2022, serial killer Levi Bellfield confessed to the murders of Lin and Megan, only to retract his confession later.
