But that was not all, as a huge twist for BBC reality game show was also revealed.
Claudia announced that for the first time ever on the UK version of The Traitors, that there would be a secret fourth Traitor that viewers at home will have to suss out, along with the rest of the cast.
The identity of the final Traitor, who wears a red cloak in contrast to the famous green cloaks worn by the others, will not be revealed to viewers or the original Traitors.
However, the secret Traitor does in fact know the identity of the other three Traitors – quite a lot to take in, isn’t it? Not to mention a secret family relationship which was also discovered in the first episode.

When is The Traitors series 4 on TV in January?
So far, the dates and timings for nine of out the full 12 episodes have been confirmed by the BBC and are as follows:
- Episode 1 – Thursday, January 1 at 8pm
- Episode 2 – Friday, January 2 at 8pm
- Episode 3 – Saturday, January 3 at 7.45pm
- Episode 4 – Wednesday, January 7 at 8pm
- Episode 5 – Thursday, January 8 at 8pm
- Episode 6 – Friday, January 9 at 8pm
- Episode 7 – Wednesday, January 14 at 8pm
- Episode 8 – Thursday, January 15 at 8pm
- Episode 9 – Friday, January 16 at 8pm
- Episode 10 – Wednesday, January 21 (TBC)
- Episode 11 – Thursday, January 22 at (TBC)
- Episode 12 – Friday, January 23 at (TBC)
