With the coming of festive season, many of south east London’s theatre like The Churchill, The Orchard, and Greenwich Theatre will be hosting their annual Christmas pantomimes for 2025.
From classic fairy tales to local twists, families can expect plenty of laughter, music, and Christmas magic this December.
Beauty and the Beast

- When: December 6, 2025 – January 4, 2026

Coming to Bromley’s Churchill Theatre is the romantic retelling of the classic tale Beauty and the Beast and supported by local Biggin Hill Airport.
Headlining this year is Samantha Womack as the Enchantress and Hi-de-Hi! star Su Pollard as Mrs Potty, alongside Britain’s Got Talent star Jamie Leahey as Silly Billy.

Also joining the lineup is panto dame Ben Stock as Dame Betty Bouffant, and theatre performer Sheri Lineham as Belle.
The production includes relaxed, BSL-interpreted, captioned, and audio-described performances on certain days.
Aladdin
- Where: Orchard West Theatre, Dartford
- When: December 13, 2025 – January 4, 2026

Over at Dartford’s Orchard West Theatre, Aladdin will be taking to the stage this year with a star-studded cast.
Headlining this year is Birds of a Feather and Loose Women star Linda Robson alongsidee comedian Rikki Jay.
Jason-Marc-Williams will star as the dame Widow Panky, and Britain’s Got Talent’s Mandy Muden will join the cast as the Spirit of the Ring.
Also joining the lineup this year will be West End performers Cleve September and Anton Stephans, appearing as Aladdin and the Genie, with Ruby Mann as Princess Jasmine.
Accessible performances include relaxed, audio-described, and BSL-interpreted showings.
Dick Whittington and His Catford Cat
- Where: Broadway Theatre, Catford

Catford’s Broadway Theatre will this year be hosting a festive and local retelling of the classic story Dick Whittington and His Catford Cat.
Written by Susie McKenna and directed by Peter Rowe, this version follows Dick and his feline companion as they arrive in Catford to stand off against the mischievous Queen Rat played by Natasha Lewis.

The cast includes Justin Brett as Sarah the Cook, Durone Stokes as Dick Whittington, Wayne Rollins as Uncle Vincent the Cat, Lisa Davina Phillips as Fairy Bowbells, Ben Fox as Alderman Fitzwarren, and newcomer Fergie Fraser as Alice Fitzwarren.
Peter Pan

Following from last years award-winning production of Dick Whittington last year, Greenwich Theatre returns with Peter Pan: A Pantomime Adventure, produced by the same team behind last year’s Best Pantomime at the UK Pantomime Awards.
Written by and starring Anthony Spargo as Captain Hook, the show features Samuel Bailey as Peter Pan, Nikita Johal as Wendy, and Olivia Williamson as Tinker Bell.
