Officers have released CCTV images of two men after a pedestrian died in a car crash. The serious collision took place in Gillingham on Monday, December 29.

Kent Police were called to the A289 Gads Hill at around 12.10pm to reports of a crash involving a male pedestrian and a car.

Officers attended alongside South East Coast Ambulance paramedics, who treated the man at the scene however he was later declared dead. Following the collision, road closures remain in place as police continue to investigate.

Pier Road is currently closed between The Strand and Gads Hill. The force have released images of two people who may be able to assist their ongoing enquiries.

Detective Inspector Zoe Wilczek said: “While we appreciate the quality of these images isn’t crystal clear, we are still in the early stages of our investigation and thank everyone who has provided images and witness accounts so far. We urge anyone with relevant information regarding the incident or these men to get in touch with us.”
