Josie Pops Kitchen is the newest addition to Suffolk Street at the iconic East End venue.

The eatery will serve up authentic Filipino cuisine, such as Pork Adobo, Chicken Inasal and Tocilog.

Announcing the exciting news on Instagram, Josie admitted that she felt ’emotional’ after receiving the keys to her container.

It comes after the food spot previously appears at the markets as a pop up.

The social media post read: “Feeling a bit emotional today. They handed me the keys to my brand-new Josie Pops Kitchen container!

“Big shoutout to the management for helping make this wee dream happen. I thought I’d be soaked in my old gazebo, but instead I was warm and cozy in my new space. Pure magic!

“Loved seeing my old customers pop back in and meeting new faces trying Filipino food for the first time. Your lovely comments mean the world. You keep me going!

“Can’t wait to deck out my wee container with some Filipino flare and share even more Filipino flavours with Glasgow.

“If you’re craving Filipino food… you know where to find me!”

Josie has received plenty of praise for her food.

One person replied to the post saying: “The best food I have in Glasgow this week while tasting around the town. Glasgow, I am impressed.”
