He is due to appear in court in the new year
A tradesman has been charged after allegedly assaulting a woman in her Gillingham home. Kent Police was called to a report of a woman being sexually touched over the clothing at around 5.45pm on December 3.
Andrei Marcus, 37, of Edinburgh Road, Chatham, was arrested that evening and charged with sexual assault. He has been remanded in custody until his next court appearance at Maidstone Crown Court on January 2, 2026.
Detective Constable Ashleigh Carr said: “We take all reports of sexual abuse very seriously and will investigate each to the fullest extent.
