The heartbroken family of a motorcyclist who died in a crash say his “kindness and laughter touched everyone who knew him”.
“Beautiful soul” Anthony Laskier, from Orpington, was involved in a collision with a white Ford Transit van at Junction 4 of the M25 on Wednesday evening (December 17).
His wife, Debbie Laskier, has since shared a statement with KentOnline on behalf of their family.
It reads: “Our hearts are broken as we share the loss of our beloved Anthony Laskier.
“Tony was a cherished husband, father, brother, grandfather, and friend whose kindness and laughter touched everyone who knew him.
“Taken from us far too soon in a road traffic collision, his absence leaves an unimaginable void in our lives.
“We ask for privacy as we grieve and remember the beautiful soul who brought so much love and joy to our world.
“Forever in our hearts.”
Anthony, who was in his 60s, was riding a BMW motorbike at the time and sadly died at the scene.
The road was shut for more than 11 hours whilst emergency services, including firefighters and paramedics, worked to make it safe.
Police are continuing to appeal for any information regarding the incident, which happened at around 4.35pm.
A spokesman added: “The driver of the van was located at the scene and is assisting officers with their inquiries.”
