Traffic Watch Northern Ireland has issued the alert

Pedestrians and drivers are being urged to exercise caution due to pedestrian traffic signals not working on a major road.

The pedestrian traffic signals are out at Andersonstown Road and Riverdale Park east junction.

Road users should approach with caution and be prepared to stop and giveway until repairs can be completed.

Elsewhere, Traffic is reported as currently busy on the following routes:

  • M1 east bound Junction 6 – junction 1
  • M2 leaving at the Nelson Street off slip.
  • M3 / Syden ham By pass both directions.
  • A12/Westlink towards York Street.
