Police are seeking witnesses
The driver of a Porsche is alleged to have punched another motorist in the face twice before attempting to drive into him. Officers from Kent Police were called to reports of an altercation on the mini roundabout joining Minster Road and Barton Hill Drive, in Minster, shortly before 5.30pm on Saturday (December 6).
It is alleged by the victim that a man driving a white Porsche Cayenne had cut him up as he was pulling out onto the roundabout. The Porsche driver is then said to have left his car and punched the other man twice in the face through the window.
When the victim then left his own vehicle, the suspect reportedly attempted to drive into him, clipping him with the wing mirror before driving off. A 41-year-old man, from Sheerness, was later arrested on suspicion of assault.
He has been released on bail pending further enquiries. Investigators are now appealing for witnesses and anyone with dashcam footage of the incident to contact them.
In particular, officers would like to speak to a pedestrian who told the victim they had seen what had occurred. Anyone with relevant video or information should call 01795 419119, quoting reference 46/209320/25.
