He remains in custody until his next court appearance
A man has been charged with murder following the death of a 19-year-old in Chatham. Kent Police offiicers were called at 3.11am on December 2, following reports of an assault in a private property in Thorold Road.
Officers attended alongside other emergency services, and a 19-year-old man was located inside the premises with injuries consistent with stab wounds. The victim was treated by paramedics but was confirmed dead at the scene.
An investigation was launched and two men were arrested on December 2. Musa Hussen-Salih, of Launceston Road, Greenford, London, was charged with murder on Thursday (December 4).
The 18 year old appeared at Sevenoaks Magistrates’ Court and was remanded in custody until his next court appearance on December 8 at Maidstone Crown Court.
The other man arrested in connection with the incident, a 32-year-old from Chatham, has been released on bail pending further enquiries.
