South East Coast Ambulance Service (Secamb) attended the incident at the junction of Pelham Rise and Trafalgar Close in Peacehaven today, September 18, at around 3.30pm.

A pedestrian and a vehicle were reportedly involved in a crash.

An air ambulance attended, however the person was taken to Royal Sussex County Hospital by road.

A spokeswoman for Secamb said: “Secamb were called at approx. 3.30pm today, September 18, to reports of a collision involving a vehicle and a pedestrian on the junction of Pelham Rise and Trafalgar Close in Peacehaven.

“Multiple crews attended the scene and assessed and treated one patient before being joined by The Air Ambulance Charity.

“The patient was then taken by road to  Royal Sussex County Hospital for further medical treatment.”
