Business journalist, Steph McGovern, will host the NRLA’s annual UK Housing Conference.
The co-host of ‘The Rest is Money’ podcast with ITV Political Editor Robert Peston, McGovern brings a wealth of experience on money and business issues. This includes time as a business presenter for BBC Breakfast and presenting the BBC’s flagship consumer affairs programme, Watchdog.
The conference, taking place on 5 November at Liverpool’s Exhibition Centre, comes at an important time for the rental sector amidst major reforms in the Renters’ Rights Bill, plans for new energy efficiency standards and talk of further tax hikes.
The annual event will give housing providers across the country insights and advice on how to navigate the changes ahead and explore the future direction of the sector.
Delegates will also be able to access the latest advice on investment strategies and the services offered by the NRLA’s array of commercial partners and suppliers covering everything from mortgage advice, insurance and effective property management.
Ben Beadle, chief Executive at the National Residential Landlords Association, said: “Steph’s wealth of experience on business and finance issues will come to the fore at what will be a vital conference for the sector.
“Amidst a blizzard of changes, this year’s event will be essential for all those wanting to get ahead of the game and take advantage of the expert insights that will be on offer.”
