New Herne Bay boss Liam Friend’s first match in charge will be a Kent derby in the FA Cup.

Bay will start their campaign with a trip to Southern Counties East Premier Division Hollands & Blair on Saturday, August 2.

Another new man in charge, Kevin Watson, has a home game for his first match as Sheppey boss as the Ites have been drawn at home to Met Police.

There are two all-Southern Counties East ties in the Extra Preliminary Round with newly-promoted Faversham Strike Force’s first-ever FA Cup game at home to re-named Chislehurst Glebe while Tunbridge Wells host Holmesdale.

Southern Counties East champions Faversham Town travel to Balham with play-off winners VCD handed a trip to Wick.

There are also away ties for Ashford United at Haywards Heath Town and Deal Town, who make the trip to Hilltop.

Erith & Belvedere have been drawn away to Jersey Bulls.

Winning teams at this stage earn £1,125 in prize money with losing sides collecting £375.

Sittingbourne and Margate are among the teams entering the competition at the Preliminary Round stage.

The Brickies will travel to either Wick or VCD Athletic while Margate make the trip to either Broadbridge Heath or Cobham.

Ties will be played on August 16 with winning teams earning £1,444 and losing sides picking up £481.
