Just two Kent sides will feature in the Preliminary Round of the FA Trophy.

Sheppey United will host Hassocks while Margate will make the trip to Egham Town on August 23 – two of the scheduled 16 ties nationwide.

The winners will receive £1,500 in prize money with losing teams collecting £400.

The reward for Sheppey if they progress is a First Qualifying Round tie at home to Crowborough Athletic on September 6.

Margate will be on the road again if they progress, the winners of their tie drawn away to Westfield.

Last season’s FA Trophy quarter-finalists Sittingbourne have been handed a Swale derby when they host newly-promoted Faversham Town.

There’s another Kent derby at Winch’s Field where Herne Bay entertain Ashford United while Deal have been drawn away to Erith Town.

Sevenoaks make the trip to Bognor and VCD will be at home to Rayners Lane.

As with the previous round, the winners will earn £1,500 in prize money with losing sides collecting £400.
