The event, which finished in Madeira Drive on Brighton seafront, attracted thousands during today’s sweltering weather.
Music blared from speakers as electric vehicles swung onto the final stretch following their 58-mile journey from London to Brighton.
Around 120 cars took part in the rally, which started from Westminster City School at 7am, with the first vehicles crossing the finish line at around 9.30am.
This year’s rally merged with Charge & Drive, offering the public a chance to test drive the latest EVs in a relaxed setting.

Harrison Hughes, event director, said: “We’re absolutely thrilled to be hosting the fifth annual London to Brighton EV Rally.
“The best part is there’s absolutely zero sales pressure—it’s all about giving people a chance to experience the future of mobility in a fun and relaxed environment.
“The London to Brighton EV Rally has always been about pushing the boundaries of what’s possible with electric vehicles, and this year is no exception.”
