Officers were supported by the National Police Air Service Helicopter yesterday evening (June 12), while attempting to stop a car in Balfour Road in Hollingdean.
Two men were seen abandoning the vehicle in Ditchling Road around 5pm.

A 23-year-old man, of no fixed address was subsequently arrested for failing to stop, dangerous driving and road traffic offences.
He has since been released under investigation.
The driver of the car remains outstanding.
Sussex Police has asked anyone with information or footage of a man running from the scene to call 101 quoting serial 941 of 12.
