Megan Forte Clarke is one of series 12’s islanders, as announced by ITV today.
Megan is from Dublin originally but lives in Brighton and trained at The Brighton Academy of performing arts and musical theatre.
The musical theatre performer and “energy broker” says she is looking for someone who “doesn’t take themselves too seriously and has a sense of humour”.
She said: “If they’re not bad looking, that’s always a plus. I love a boy that’s a bit pasty, like Timothée Chalamet. I don’t mind scrawny, or a bit of a ‘dad bod’. I’m 5ft 1 so any height really.”
The 24-year-old has performed in pantomimes and said she made a Derry Girls TikTok for Halloween which “went a bit viral around Brighton”.
“Sometimes I get stopped in the street about it”, she said.
Megan has more than 3,000 followers on social media.
She is reportedly friends with Love Island star Harriett Blackmore, who rose to fame on last year’s series and also later starred on All Stars at the start of 2025.
A TV source told MailOnline: “Megan is a gorgeous girl, she’s funny, and right now, couldn’t be unluckier in love, making her the perfect Islander. ”
The first batch of contestants heading into the Love Island Villa was announced as ITV2 gears up for the launch of its twelfth summer series on Monday, June 9.
