Tell us about Pangaea X.
Pangaea X is an ecosystem in the making for the data world. We have multiple products already released or in the making, catering to every stage of the data cycle. These include learning about data analytics, to discussing the latest developments in the data world, to hiring freelancers or being hired to work on various data projects.
We also enable freelance data experts to joining forces with their peers and work together on larger scale projects.
What do you think makes this company unique?
We are unique because we chose to remain in a specific niche. Unlike other freelancing platforms that open their doors to just about every industry you can think of, we specialize in data. The world of data is so incredibly vast that we believe it requires its own ecosystem and dedicated platform. It should not be limited to a subcategory like it is on so many other freelancing platforms. No matter the domain or industry, we vet our freelancers with a system that ensures we are offering our community the very best of the best.
Pangaea X is so much more than just a freelancing platform contributing to the gig economy. We are a community, an opportunity, a learning academy, an ecosystem. The reason behind our name is that we are a data supercontinent, where you can find all your data needs. We aim to transform the way individuals and businesses find and connect with data analysts all over the world.
What is your advice to aspiring entrepreneurs?
Hard work is admirable, but it will only get you so far. Having a vision and purpose is the other part of the equation. Once you’ve found them, follow through to the best of your ability, but don’t be afraid to pivot and adapt. Do not fear change, it is not a bad thing. Being agile and flexible are important qualities for entrepreneurs to have, especially in the fields of data and technology, where things are changing at such a rapid pace.
What most excites you about Pangaea X?
I’m incredibly excited about the potential it holds, and it’s only a matter of realising it to the fullest. We are in a young and growing industry, and it is very exciting. I believe we have not discovered even 25% of the capabilities and potential in data analytics and AI. There’s so much more in store for everyone, and a lot of this will be happening soon, so stay tuned.
How has the company evolved over the last couple of years?
We are very different today from when we were founded in 2020. Our overall vision and mission remain to become the largest data ecosystem. However, our path to our goal has changed and grown so much. Even a quick glance at tech headlines shows how much AI’s capabilities have grown over the past few years. We are constantly evolving to keep up with changing trends, but we do not lose sight of the goal.
What can we hope to see from Pangaea X in the future?
We will be introducing multiple levels to our ecosystem, going beyond the traditional freelancing platform model. There will be many new features coming, most of which have never been available to freelancers on other sites. We aim to further utilize AI in the most efficient ways that will benefit us, clients, freelancers, and all our stakeholders.
