The work will take place between Monday and Friday (May 19 to May 23).

We have simplified and outlined all the details for you to plan your journey this week.

 

Every day:

Engineering work is taking place at Lewisham station, closing various lines in the area each night from Monday evening until Friday morning.

After 11.15pm each night:

Trains will not be able to stop at Lewisham.

Trains via Bexleyheath will not run or will be diverted to run via Sidcup, and trains will be unable to run between Lewisham and Hayes.

On Monday and Tuesday, trains on the Hayes line will be diverted after New Beckenham to Bromley South except the last train, the 12.09am train from London Cannon Street to Hayes, which will not run.

Replacement buses will run on the following routes:

  • London Bridge / Lewisham and Dartford via Bexleyheath
  • London Bridge and Hayes (11.50pm and 12.20am trains from London Bridge on Monday and Tuesday night only)
  • Lewisham and Hayes (from 10.45pm on Monday and Tuesday night, and 12.25am only on Wednesday and Thursday night)
  • Lewisham and Dartford via Sidcup (12.50am from Lewisham only)
  • London Bridge and Orpington (1.10am from London Bridge only)

 

All week:

Engineering work on the Blackheath Tunnel is set to begin on Sunday.

As a result, no trains will run between Blackheath and Charlton.

Most trains between Dartford and London Cannon Street via Woolwich Arsenal and Lewisham will be diverted to run via Greenwich, however, at peak times some of these trains will be diverted to run via Bexleyheath.

There will be two trains per hour between Blackheath and London Cannon Street.

At peak times some additional trains will run between Dartford and London Cannon Street via Bexleyheath.
