Motorists using the Dartford Crossing are being urged to plan ahead, as a series of overnight maintenance and resurfacing works are set to cause significant disruption to travel through the coming week.
With diversions in place and potential weather-related delays, drivers are advised to allow extra travel time and stay updated on changing schedules.
The Dartford Crossing, linking Dartford in Kent to Thurrock in Essex, is one of the busiest routes over the River Thames — and the overnight works are expected to cause disruption right through to Monday, May 19.
