Alex Fine and Cassie Ventura have been together for years, but Cassie’s personal life has taken center amid the trial of her ex Sean “Diddy” Combs, which began in May 2025. Alex popped the question at the Compton Cowboys ranch in California on August 24, 2019, and Cassie broke the big news on Instagram at the time. “I love you best friend. I can’t wait to spend the rest of my life with you,” she wrote.

Years into their relationship, Alex made sure to occasionally give his wife the public shout-out she deserves! In august 2024, he gushed about his wife in a birthday Instagram post, calling Cassie the “greatest Mama to the two most beautiful, kind, and intelligent little girls” and the “bestest wife in the world, and my weird little best friend.”

Hollywood Life has five facts to know about Alex and his marriage to Cassie below.

Alex has worked as a celebrity fitness trainer

Some of Alex’s celebrity clientele once included Mark Consuelos, Jennifer Aniston, Odell Beckham Jr., Reggie Bush and KJ Apa. He got into the fitness field by interning with CT Fletcher and Jason Walsh, who helped Bradley Cooper get in his best shape ever for American Sniper. From there, Alex started his own personal training program and opened a gym in California.

Alex was a D1 athlete in college

Working with so many professional athletes isn’t intimidating to Alex, because he was a serious competitive athlete himself. Alex played football at Central Michigan University, although he never saw action in any games during his career. He graduated CMU in 2015.

Alex is also a bull rider

When he’s not in the gym working out, Alex rides bulls. “It was a bet that started when I met one of my clients, Justin Pugh, who plays on the New York Giants,” Alex told The Manual. “I thought I could do it and he didn’t. I’d never ridden a horse before.”

Alex is now an actor

Now that Alex has his footing in personal training, he finally landed acting gigs over the years. Among his most noteworthy performances were in the Yellowstone spinoff 1883 and Mobland.

Alex is a charitable guy

While in college, Alex volunteered for the Special Olympics. He also helped in the Hurricane Harvey relief efforts in 2017 by joining a team that rescued 30 people stranded in a nursing home and organizing a much-needed food drive.
