Between April 20 and April 29, Joseph Carrigan stole from Co-op on London Road, Bromley, and a nearby M&S four times.
The 42-year-old also assaulted three people in the act.
On Friday, May 2, he appeared at Bromley Magistrates’ Court where he pleaded guilty to the offences.
He was sentenced to four and a half months in prison.
Carrigan was also given a two-year Criminal Behaviour Order (CBO) banning him from any Co-op and M&S within the M25.
