A suspected drink driver who fled from the scene after a three-vehicle crash was tracked down thanks to a police dog.
Canine Kit was called into action after a collision involving a motorbike and two cars in Playstool Road, Newington, near Sittingbourne, at around 7.20pm on Sunday (May 4).
Officers attended and spoke to those present. No serious injuries were reported.
The man riding the motorcycle is alleged to have left the scene and was chased by an off-duty officer before the police dog and his handler tracked him down.
A search led to the recovery of cannabis and drug-related items.
The suspect was arrested in connection with possession of cannabis and several driving offences, including failing to stop and drink driving.
He has since been bailed while inquiries continue.
