Goalkeeper Glenn Morris picked up the top award during Gillingham’s end-of-season presentation.
The annual ceremony took place in the Great Hall, Priestfield Stadium, shortly after the League 2 match against Swindon Town, which finished 1-1.
American owners Brad and Shannon Galinson had both flown back to England ahead of the weekend match to ensure they were present at the awards’ bash.
Chairman Brad Galinson took to the stage to announce Morris as the player-of-the-year for the 2024/25 season.
Morris started the season as back-up to Jake Turner but quickly won his place back in the starting eleven and has now made over 100 appearances for the club.
At 41, he’s the oldest player in the Football League and is out of contract at the end of this season.
Morris also picked up the players’ player award, presented by captain Armani Little, and prior to Saturday’s game received the Gillingham FC Supporters’ Club award for player-of-the-year.
Defender Sam Gale was named young player-of-the-year after an exceptional spell in the side.
The 20-year-old returned to the club in December from a loan at Chelmsford and quickly established himself in the Gills first team, becoming an ever-present under former boss John Coleman and now also with current manager Gareth Ainsworth.
Midfielder Robbie McKenzie picked up the award for goal-of-the-season for his strike away at Walsall.
McKenzie’s 25-yard effort, which levelled the scores at the Poundland Stadium back in February, hit the back of the net after striking the underside of the bar.
Harry Webster was named academy player-of-the-year.
The 18-year-old right-back made two first-team appearances this season, in 1-0 wins against both Salford and MK Dons in December, after previously making his senior debut in the EFL Trophy,
He signed his first professional contract with the Gills in September in a deal that extends his stay until the summer of 2027, with the club having an option of a further year.
Webster joined Isthmian Premier Division side Chatham Town in February and played regularly during the second half of the campaign, scoring a couple of goals including the winner against Hashtag United.
Managing director Joe Comper also presented an outstanding service award which went to Jamie Wyatt, the club’s facilities and cleaning assistant.
A popular figure around the club, Gills said that Jamie had been a “dedicated servant for well over a decade, loved by all, and a huge member of our team behind the scenes.”
