Dog found in Greenock prompting appeal to trace owners

The male dog was taken to Greenock police office on Friday, April 11. 

Now, cops have launched an appeal for information regarding the animal or its owners.

A statement published to Police Scotland Renfrewshire and Inverclyde’s X [formerly Twitter] page reads: “Male dog found in Greenock. Brought to Greenock Police Office on Friday, April 11, 2025.

“Please contact Police Scotland on renfrewshireinverclydelalokc@scotland.police.uk if you have any relevant information about this dog or the owners of this dog.”
