John Hartson, who scored 88 goals for the Hoops between 2001 and 2007, took to X/Twitter yesterday to mark his 50th birthday.
In a post, which included a selfie, the Welshman said: “Defied the odds! 50 and grateful for everything I have.”

The former striker was diagnosed with testicular cancer in 2009, which had spread to his brain.
He received chemotherapy and underwent surgery, which virtually eradicated the disease.
