Officers were called to a block of flats in Arthur Road, Horsham, at around 3am today, April 7.
Several people are reported to have smashed a window at the property before making off from the scene, police said.
There has been an increased police presence at the flats as an investigation is underway.

A spokesman for Sussex Police said: “Witnesses or anyone with information, including CCTV, doorbell, or dashcam footage in the area at the time is asked to report it to us.
“Information can be reported on the Sussex Police website or by calling 101 and quote serial 92 of 07/04.
“Anyone with concerns about ongoing anti-social behaviour is also encouraged to report it to Sussex Police, or contact Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111 or report online to crimestoppers-uk.org.”
