TfL warns of London bus changes for first weekend of April

If you rely on these services, make sure to note these updates, which include adjustments to service frequencies, temporary timetables due to ongoing roadworks, and changes to the first and last bus timings on select routes.

As one of the world’s largest bus networks, TfL operates over 9,000 buses across 700 routes.

The service offers a flat fare of £1.75, with unlimited travel within one hour through the Hopper fare.

Accessibility and sustainability are key priorities, with many wheelchair-accessible buses and an increasing number of electric and hybrid vehicles, aiming for a zero-emission fleet by 2034.

The following changes will take place from Saturday, April 5, 2025:

1. Route 21 will have a new timetable on all days of the week with the frequency restored to every 8-9 minutes during the daytime on Monday to Saturdays and every 12 minutes during the evenings and on Sundays.
2. Route 23 will have a new timetable on Saturdays and Sundays with journey times revised to better reflect current traffic levels.
3. Route 54 will have a new timetable on all days of the week with the frequency restored to every 10 minutes during the daytime on Monday to Fridays, every 12 minutes during the daytime on Saturdays and every 15 minutes during the evenings and on Sundays.
4. A temporary timetable will be introduced on route 70 widening the frequency of the service to every 11 minutes during the daytime on Monday to Fridays. No change at any other time. The temporary timetable will be in place to help with reliability during works along the route.
5. Route 75 will have a new timetable on all days of the week with the frequency restored to every 12 minutes during the daytime on Monday to Saturdays and every 15 minutes during the evenings and on Sundays.
6. Route 76 will have a new timetable on all days of the week with the frequency restored to every 10 minutes during the daytime on Monday to Saturdays and every 12 minutes during the evenings and on Sundays. The night service remains at a bus every 30 minutes on every night of the week.
7. Route 89 will have a new timetable on all days of the week with the frequency restored to every 12 minutes during the daytime on Monday to Saturdays and every 20 minutes during the evenings and on Sundays.
8. Route 94 will have a new timetable on Saturdays and Sundays with journey times revised to better reflect current traffic levels.
9. Route 111 will have a new timetable on all days of the week with the frequency restored to every 10 minutes during the daytime on Monday to Saturdays. every 12 minutes during the daytime on Sundays and every 15 minutes during the evening on all days of the week. The night service remains at a bus every 30 minutes on every night of the week.
10. Route 148 will have a new timetable on Saturdays and Sundays with journey times revised to better reflect current traffic levels.
11. Route 178 will have a new timetable on all days of the week with the frequency restored to every 15 minutes during the daytime on Monday to Saturdays and every 20 minutes during the evenings and on Sundays.
12. Route 185 will have a new timetable on all days of the week with the frequency restored to every 8-9 minutes during the daytime on Monday to Saturdays and every 12 minutes during the evenings and on Sundays.
13. Route 199 will have a new timetable on all days of the week with the frequency restored to every 12 minutes during the daytime on Monday to Saturdays, every 15 minutes during the daytime on Sundays and every 20 minutes during the evenings on all days of the week.
14. Route 225 will have a new timetable on all days of the week with the frequency restored to a bus every 20 minutes at all times of the day.
15. Route 261 will have a new timetable on all days of the week with the frequency restored to every 12 minutes during the daytime on Monday to Saturdays, every 15 minutes during the daytime on Sundays and every 20 minutes during the evenings on all days of the week.
16. Route 262 will have a new timetable on all days of the week with minor changes to times.
17. Route 263 will have a new timetable on all days of the week with minor changes to times.
18. Route 267 will have a new timetable on all days of the week with minor changes to times.
19. A temporary timetable will be introduced on route 272 widening the frequency of the service to every 16 minutes during the daytime on Monday to Fridays. No change at any other time. The temporary timetable will be in place to help with reliability during works along the route.
20. Route 284 will have a new timetable on all days of the week with the frequency restored to every 10 minutes during the daytime on Monday to Fridays, every 12 minutes during the daytime on Saturdays and every 20 minutes during the evenings and on Sundays.
21. Route 321 will have a new timetable on all days of the week with the frequency restored to every 10 minutes during the daytime on Monday to Saturdays and every 12 minutes during the evenings and on Sundays. The night service remains at a bus every 30 minutes on every night of the week.
22. Route 380 will have a new timetable on all days of the week with the frequency restored to every 10 minutes during the daytime on Monday to Fridays, every 12 minutes during the daytime on Saturdays and every 15 minutes during the evenings and on Sundays.
23. Route 432 will have a new timetable on all days of the week with the frequency reduced during the daytime on Monday to Saturdays to a bus every 12 minutes. The frequency during the evening and all day on Sundays will remain at a bus every 15 minutes.
24. Route 436 will have a new timetable on all days of the week with the frequency restored to a bus every 12 minutes at all times of the day.
25. Route 452 will have a new timetable on Saturdays and Sundays with journey times revised to better reflect current traffic levels.
26. A temporary timetable will be introduced on route 482 widening the frequency of the service to every 21 minutes during the daytime on Monday to Fridays and to every 31 minutes during the daytime on Sundays. No change at any other time. The temporary timetable will be in place to help with reliability during works on Vicarage Farm Road.
27. Route 484 will have a new timetable on all days of the week with the frequency restored to every 12 minutes during the daytime on Monday to Saturdays and every 15 minutes during the evenings and on Sundays.
28. A temporary timetable will be introduced on route H28 widening the frequency of the service to every 21 minutes during the daytime on Monday to Saturdays and to every 31 minutes during the evening and all day on Sundays. The temporary timetable will be in place to help with reliability during works on Vicarage Farm Road.
29. Route N271 will be renumbered to route N263 from this date. There is no change to the timetable of route N263 which will continue to run every 30 minutes on all nights of the week between Moorgate, Finsbury Square and North Finchley, Tally Ho Corner serving all existing stops served by the current N271 route.
30. Route P4 will have a new timetable on all days of the week with the frequency restored to every 12 minutes during the daytime on all days of the week and every 15 minutes during the evenings on all days of the week.
