The funeral was held at St Mary’s Church in Brighton’s Kemp Town where more than 500 friends, family, and admirers gathered to pay their respects.

The procession commenced from Legends nightclub on Marine Parade, where hundreds of attendees convened at 9:30 am, wearing bright colours and glitter.

Such a gathering of people prompted the installation of barriers to ensure everyone’s safety.

Guests dazzled in vibrant outfits, with many sporting glitter, sequins, and richly coloured velvet.

The funeral service was planned to be a heartfelt tribute, with attendees sharing stories, music, and performances that would encapsulate David’s spirit and contributions.
