The long leasehold of 2-3 Pavilion Buildings, in Brighton, which was formerly home to All Bar One, has been sold to Team Domenica, a local charity that helps young people with learning disabilities through employment programmes.

All Bar One vacated the newly refurbished unit on September 28 last year.

The building, just off North Street, will serve as the new home for the charity’s specialist further education college and training centre, dedicated to supporting people with learning disabilities on their path to paid employment. It will also feature a café and bar in the former All Bar One site.

The refurbished space spans 1,075 m² (11,580 ft²) across a basement, ground floor, and two upper levels.

Since 2016, Team Domenica has helped young people with learning disabilities through education, skills training and employment opportunities, with over 80 per cent of its candidates securing paid work through its supported internship programme.

Team Domenica founder and chairwoman Baroness Rosa Monckton MBE said: “This will put Team Domenica — and our candidates — at the very heart of Brighton in a spectacular and historic building. More than just a space, it will be a beacon of hope and opportunity, proving what people with learning disabilities can achieve when given the right support, respect, and belief.”

Elysia Wilson-Gunn, divisional director of estate agents Fleurets London, who managed the sale, said: “We are very pleased to have facilitated the sale of this prominent Brighton property to Team Domenica. Their inspiring mission will bring new life to the space.

“It will be exciting to see the evolution of the site and we look forward to seeing their vision take shape.”
