Sinitta, famous for hits like Toy Boy and So Macho, will be playing Matron ‘Mama’ Morton in Chicago.

The famous production will be coming to the King’s Theatre in the city centre from August 18 until August 23.
Also in the star-studded line-up is Strictly Come Dancing’s Janette Manrara as Roxie Hart and West End and TV star Darren Day (Joseph, We Will Rock You, Doctors, Celebrity Big Brother) as Billy Flynn.
Chicago, set in the 1920s, follows Roxie Hart, a housewife and nightclub dancer who murders her on-the-side lover after he threatens to walk out on her.
Desperate to avoid conviction, she dupes the public, the media and her rival cellmate, Velma Kelly, by hiring Chicago’s slickest criminal lawyer to transform her malicious crime into a barrage of sensational headlines, the likes of which might just as easily be ripped from today’s tabloids.
The musical is created by John Kander, Fred Ebb and legendary choreographer Bob Fosse.
