Police responded to reports of suspicious behaviour in Green Street Green Road in the early hours of February 22.

Officers carried out a search and cannabis was seized, along with deal bags and two mobile phones.

A 27-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of possession of a class B drug with intent to supply.

An additional search of a nearby property was carried out which led to weapons, including knives, an extendable baton and a knuckle duster, being recovered.

The suspect was further arrested.

Chief Inspector Will Lay said: “The weapons that my officers recovered have no place in our communities.

“We are committed to stamping out violent crime and drugs misuse in Kent, and by taking items such as these off the streets, we continue to make our county a safer place in which to live, visit and work.”
