Prime Video has unveiled the official trailer for a brand-new three-part psychological thriller show called Fear.

The new programme is about a family who are ‘pushed to their absolute limits’.

The show’s cast is made up of Scots star Martin Compston, Anjli Mohindra, Solly McLeod, Dumbarton’s BAFTA-award-winning actor James Cosmo, Maureen Beattie, Daniel Portman, Anneika Rose, and Bhav Joshi.

(Image: Prime Video) A description of the new thriller reads: “Excited to make a fresh start away from London, Martyn (Martin Compston) and Rebecca (Anjli Mohindra) move into a beautiful house in Glasgow with their two young children.

“At first, the new home seems idyllic, but when their neighbour Jan (Solly McLeod) makes unnerving comments to Rebecca it turns out to be the start of something far more intimidating.

“Facing accusations that are every parent’s worst nightmare, and with the authorities refusing to step in, Martyn and Rebecca feel they have nowhere to turn to for help.”

Announcing the new show, Prime Video said it was filmed entirely in Glasgow.

They also said it will premiere at the Glasgow Film Festival and will include a screening and panel with select cast and crew.

The new original series will premiere all episodes exclusively on Prime Video in the UK and Ireland on March 4.

Fear is from Wild Mercury and Capricorn Productions, written by Mick Ford based on the book by Dirk Kurbjuweit and directed by Justin Chadwick.

It comes after we reported how 40-year-old Martin teased an exciting new travel show.

The much-loved Greenock actor took to Instagram to hint he’s creating a brand-new travel programme.

In the post, he announced he’s making the new show but with a ‘twist’.

The star is known for his roles in Line of Duty, Sweet Sixteen, and The Wee Man.
