Officers searched the house on Townhead Street, Kilsyth on February 4 where they allegedly found cocaine with an estimated street value of £10,000.

The 38-year-old man has been arrested and charged in connection to the recovery and was released on an undertaking to appear at Airdrie Sheriff Court at a later date.

Susie Cairns, Detective Chief Inspector, said: “This seizure demonstrates our ongoing commitment to removing illegal drugs from the streets of Lanarkshire.

“Information from the public is vital and I would urge anyone who has information or concerns about drugs in their community to contact Police Scotland on 101. Alternatively, contact Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111, where anonymity can be maintained.”
