A bike and a car crashed at the junction of Dartford Heath roundabout and the A2 shortly before 8.31am today (January 29).

Officers and paramedics attended and treated the biker for injuries before taking her to a major trauma centre “as a priority”.

A Kent Police spokesperson said: “Kent Police was called at 8.31am on Wednesday 29 January to a collision involving a car and a motorbike on the A2 at the junction of Dartford Heath roundabout near Bexley. 

“Officers and paramedics attended the scene where the motorcyclist was treated for injuries.

“She was taken to a London hospital for further medical attention.

A London Ambulance Service spokesperson said: “We were called at 8.33am this morning (Wednesday 29 January) to reports of a road traffic collision at the junction of Dartford Heath roundabout and the A2, Bexley.

“We sent resources to the scene, including an ambulance crew and an incident response officer.

“Our crews treated a woman at the scene, before taking her to a London major trauma centre as a priority.”
