William Stout vanished from his home this morning in the Kings Park area of Glasgow and has not been heard from.
The 63-year-old left to go to a local shop but did not return and has not been in touch with his family since.
He is described as 5ft 10ins and of stocky build with grey hair.
When he was last seen he was wearing a black clothing and a black beanie hat.

Inspector Alex Marshall said: “William is known to frequent the Possilpark, Rutherglen and Kings Park areas.
“We are carrying out a number of searches and enquiries in and around these areas to trace him as soon as possible to ensure that he is safe and well.
“We are concerned for his safety and wellbeing.
“We urge anyone who has seen William or who has any information regarding his whereabouts to contact Police Scotland through 101 quoting incident number 1413 of 19 January.”
