Across England, 61 per cent of Year 6 pupils reached the expected standard in reading, writing, and maths during the 2023-24 academic year.

Bromley as a borough soared above the national average, with 69 per cent of pupils meeting this benchmark.

It’s worth noting that pupils included in this performance data experienced some disruption earlier in their schooling due to the Covid-19 pandemic.

This will have affected individual pupils and schools differently, highlighting the resilience and determination of both students and staff in achieving these results.
