The body was found by Madeira Terrace this morning.
A spokesman for Sussex Police said: “Police received a report of concern for a man’s welfare at Madeira Terrace, Brighton, at about 7am on January 7.
“Sadly, the body of a man was found.
“There were no suspicious circumstances and his next of kin have been informed.
“Our thoughts are with them at this difficult time.
“A report will be prepared for HM Coroner.”
