South East Dog Rescue & Rehabilitation in Greenhithe, founded by Kymm White in 2009, rescues and rehomes abandoned and neglected dogs.
In a heartfelt statement, Kymm said: “For over 16 years, I have dedicated my heart, soul, and life to building a rescue that provides safety, love, and hope to countless abandoned and neglected dogs.
“But now, everything I’ve worked so hard for is at risk.”

The rescue is now at risk after the kennels rented by the charity, described as “the heart” of the rescue, were put up for sale, with planning for warehouses to be built on the site.
The rescue announced a fundraiser to raise £1.7 million to secure its future, in order to find a new base to allow them to continue rescuing dogs.
So far, the rescue has raised a total of £29,838 of their £1.7 million target.

In a statement on the rescue website, Kymm wrote: “We need to raise the funds to buy or find a new home for our dogs—or risk losing it all.
“We are under no illusion that the funds needed is possible, but we’re not willing to give up without a fight – our dogs, and future dogs, are all worth it.”
