Josh Southgate died in hospital after his blue Yamaha bike collided with a Ford Transit van near Worthing in September.
Hundreds of riders took to the streets on Saturday to celebrate the 20-year-old’s life.
David Hughes, who worked with Josh at Bacon and Co. Estate Agents, said: “Josh was a very, very nice young man. He had a great future.
“He absolutely loved his mum and dad to death.
“It was a really, really nice tribute. The way they did it was very special – I’ve never experienced anything like it before.
“I don’t think the biking community could have done a better tribute.”
In total, an estimated 350 people joined the ride which headed from Lancing towards Lyons Farm and the crash site near Clapham.
The riders later finished at Whiteways Café, near Arundel, having dropped flowers at Josh’s workplace and at the crash site.
Xavi Champion, who helped to organise the ride with WeAreMoto, said: “It was incredible and the reaction was phenomenal.
“So many people came from everywhere for the ride – I had one person who stayed with me after coming from Wales for it.
“It was an honour to organise it. All of the groups came together and it was overwhelming but phenomenal.”
Josh’s friends and family took to the road on bikes, stopping at the crash site as well as passing by the estate agent where he worked.
The van driver, a 62-year-old man from Waterlooville near Portsmouth, was uninjured.
