A man has been charged after a woman was sexually assaulted at a gym.
A police officer was on duty in the Eureka Park area of Ashford when he was approached by a member of the public shortly before 1am on Tuesday, October 22, who reported that a woman had been sexually assaulted by another gymgoer, earlier in the evening in PureGym in Warren Retail Park.
Jordan Mutemeri, 23, of Guernsey Way, was later arrested in the area.
Today, he was charged with sexual assault on a woman, as well as outraging public decency in relation to a separate incident at the gym on the same date against two other women.
He was also charged with possession of class B drugs, possession of an offensive weapon, possession of a bladed article, and a public order offence.
He has been remanded and is due to appear at Folkestone Magistrates’ Court today.
