Dartford, just three miles from south east London, is often best known for its busy Dartford Crossing first built in 1963, spanning the river Thames and linking drivers with the busy M25.

However, despite its reputation as a busy area for traffic, Dartford was recently ranked as England’s most “relaxed” area, according to a study by fitness supplier Mirafit.

The fitness equipment supplier analysed data from the Office for National Statistics (ONS) Health index to judge 307 England’s local authorities on three factors.
