Officers from the area’s priority policing team searched an address in the town on Thursday, September 26.
During it, police say they allegedly discovered cannabis plants with a street value of £22,000.
A 52-year-old man was arrested and charged with alleged drugs offences.
He will appear in court at a later date.

A spokesperson for Police Scotland said: “On September 26, 2024, the priority policing team executed a search warrant at an address in Airdrie.
“Cannabis plants with a street value of £22k were seized.
“A 52-year-old male was arrested and charged with drugs offences and will be appearing in court at a later date.”
