The London Borough of Bromley enforced new parking restrictions from Thursday (September 19).
The changes, which affect several streets, include new no-waiting zones and adjustments to existing shared-use parking spaces.
The council has made these changes under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
The new rules will be enforced in various locations, including Albemarle Road, Brindlewick Gardens, Churchside Close, and several arms of Clock House Road in Beckenham.
Other roads affected include Copers Cope Road, Foxgrove Road, Greycot Road, Haverley Street, and Hazlehurst, also in Beckenham.
In Bickley, Mayfield Road and Southborough Road will see changes, while in Bromley, New Street Hill, Portland Road, and Sundridge Avenue will be affected.
In Biggin Hill, Churchside Close, Sunningvale Avenue, and Swievelands Road will have new restrictions.
The changes will extend existing waiting restrictions and convert some current time-limited waiting restrictions to operate at any time.
In Clock House Road, the length of an existing shared-use parking space will be reduced by 4.5 metres on one side and increased by the same distance on the other.
Residents who wish to inspect copies of the orders can do so by emailing TrafficManagementOrders@Bromley.gov.uk.
These can be inspected until October 15.
Anyone wishing to question the validity of the orders can make an application to the High Court within six weeks of the orders being made.
The new restrictions are aimed at improving traffic flow and safety in the affected areas.
The council has stated that the changes are necessary to manage parking demand and ensure the free movement of traffic.
The council has also said that the changes will help to improve road safety by reducing the risk of accidents caused by parked vehicles obstructing the view of drivers and pedestrians.
The council has also reminded residents that it is their responsibility to check for any changes to parking restrictions in their area.
