This year’s Emmy Awards recognized some of the most popular TV shows and television films from the past year. While only a handful walked away with awards at Los Angeles Peacock Theater, all nominees were honored in their respective categories. Moreover, the awards show emphasized the importance of inclusion and perseverance, as many nominees accomplished in their series.
