Tomorrow (September 12) the train will be running from London Victoria to Dover Priory, travelling through south east London on a Belmond trip.
Visitors on board can dine on opulent Pullman carriages as they would have during their height of use in the 20th century.
The carriages will be pulled by the famous Clan Line 35028 locomotive, which was first built in 1948 in Hampshire.
The locomotive spent 19 years in service and was part of notable routes run by the Southern Region of British Railways, like the Golden Arrow and The Night Ferry, before finishing in 1967.
One of its most famous trips made history in 2018, when it became the first Merchant Navy locomotive to pass over the Royal Albert Bridge and enter Cornwall.
Today the locomotive, distinctive by its bottle green exterior and with over 7 decades of history, will make around three yearly trips pulling commercial trains like tomorrow’s route, for train enthusiasts eager to see these historic locomotivein action.
The journey will pass through a number of south east London stations on its journey into the Kent countryside, towards Paddock Wood and south east London in the early afternoon.
