Justin Baldoni recently expressed his support for domestic abuse survivors amidst reported tensions involving his It Ends With Us co-star, Blake Lively. On August 31, the 40-year-old producer shared a touching message on Instagram aimed at those affected by the film’s subject matter.

Baldoni began his post with “Dear Survivor,” writing, “Your resilience and bravery shine through even on the darkest days. Every part of your journey weaves a story of strength and hope. Each small step you take is a testament to your enduring spirit and an inspiration to many.”

He continued, “Though I may never fully grasp your pain, know that you are not alone in this fight. Your journey serves as a beacon of hope for others still seeking light. Despite the challenges, your story continues to inspire.”

Baldoni concluded with, “As you pursue joy, remember that you are also setting us all free.”

His message follows recent controversies involving Lively, 37, who faced criticism for her behavior during film promotions. Sources suggest that creative differences between Baldoni and Lively led to a strained working relationship, with reports indicating that Lively’s involvement, including enlisting her husband Ryan Reynolds for script contributions, caused friction on set.

An insider revealed to Us Weekly, “The film had two factions — Team Blake and Team Justin. This creative divide created a negative atmosphere behind the scenes and led to a lack of communication between them.”

Lively has also faced backlash for making a light-hearted remark about a serious domestic violence question, further fueling discussions about the sensitivity needed when addressing such critical issues in film.
