Police say they were called to an alleged disturbance on Stevenson Street in the town on Monday, September 2.
Cops were alerted to the incident at around 7.45pm.
999 crews rushed to the scene. After that, two men aged 33 and 35 were taken to the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital in Glasgow.

On top of that, a 48-year-old man was taken to the Royal Alexandra Hospital in Paisley.
The trio are currently being treated in hospital for their injuries.
Meanwhile, the force says three men – aged 33, 35, and 48 – have been arrested in connection with the alleged incident.
It is understood the incident allegedly involved bladed weapons, while armed response officers attended.
An investigation is underway.

A spokesperson for Police Scotland said: “Around 7.45pm on Monday, September 2, 2024, police received a report of a disturbance in Stevenson Street, Paisley.
“Officers attended and two men aged 33 and 35 years were taken by ambulance to the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital in Glasgow and a 48-year-old man was taken by ambulance to the Royal Alexandra Hospital in Paisley.
“The three men are currently being treated in hospital for their injuries.
“Three men aged 33, 35 and 48 years have been arrested in connection with the incident and enquiries are ongoing.”
A spokesperson for the Scottish Ambulance Service said: “We received a call at 7.51pm on Monday, September 2, to attend an incident on Calside, Paisley.
“We dispatched two ambulances and three special operations response teams (SORT) to the scene.
“One patient was transported to Queen Elizabeth University Hospital.”
