Aggregate Technology Recycling has applied for permission to build a building, designed for the sole purpose of storage, at ATL Environmental Village in Balmuildy Road.

ATL recycles construction aggregate materials, which are delivered in lorries and skips.

The proposed building would be made of steel and measure around 40m by 19m with a height of around 10 metres.

It is intended as a storage facility for recycled aggregates prior to their removal from the site, and is also needed to help the company expand its operations.

The applicant states that the building would be in keeping with others at the location and would not be too conspicuous from the public road.
